Experience
I attended Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island where I received my bachelor's degree in education and history. After graduation, I was hired for a teaching position in Austin, Texas. I have spent the previous two years completing my master's in secondary education at Notre Dame. I am currently teaching middle school language arts and social studies. I started tutoring elementary students while still in high school and it was then that I realized how much I love working alongside kids and teaching. I did a considerable amount of tutoring at Providence College, in addition to playing rugby for four years. My focus was mainly on one-on-one writing lessons, college essays, middle school math, and reading. I have experience tutoring students in all elementary and middle school subjects. I specialize in middle school and high school writing. I also have experience tutoring students in American history, world history, elementary math, middle school math, social studies, English. I am also able to help students with test preparation. As a former coach, I enjoy playing sports and running. I also love reading a good book and cooking.
