Experience
I've had experience in front of the classroom, in small groups and in one-on-one settings. My tutoring experience extends to a variety of environments and I know how to differentiate my instruction to meet the needs of every student. As a full-time social studies teacher, every day I interact with students of a variety of backgrounds and skill sets, and I view myself as a partner in their learning. Tutoring should also be such a partnership! Beyond my teaching content, I have taught a number of SAT courses and have tutored students at the middle and high school level in all subjects. I am especially comfortable with reading and writing at all grade levels, and math at the middle and elementary level. Finally, I am trained in test prep and can cater instruction to the PARCC, SAT or AP exams.
